The Foundational Stage of the HR Certification Pathway

OVERVIEW

The LINX Training Professional (LINX-TP) designation represents the foundational stage of the HR certification pathway. It is intended for individuals who are developing core Human Resources knowledge and gaining early exposure to HR principles, workplace practices, and organizational policies.

This designation focuses on building essential HR literacy, professional conduct, and practical understanding of workplace systems and compliance requirements

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Designed for individuals transitioning from academic study into entry-level HR or HR-support roles.
  • Currently enrolled in or completed at least 2 years of a recognized post-secondary HR or related program
  • Graduated within the past 3 years from a recognized HR or related program
  • Active LINX HR Canada membership in good standing is required
  • Successful completion of Workplace Scenario Assessment (LINX-CP Competency Framework)

RECERTIFICATION

  • Renewal every 3 years
  • Minimum 50 CPD points over a three-year cycle
  • Active LINX HR Canada membership in good standing is required
  • Recertification application submission required

CERTIFICATION PURPOSE

The LINX-TP designation serves as the entry point into the HR profession, establishing the foundational competencies required for progression into mid-level HR roles and advanced certification levels.
